Land Clearing
Lot clearing in Hinesville, GA
A lot that cannot be walked cannot be surveyed, sold or built on. Lot clearing gets it to that point: brush mulched, unwanted trees down, stumps ground low, keepers left standing.

What a cleared lot looks like
Brush and saplings mulched to ground cover, the trees you flagged left in place, stumps from anything removed ground low, and the drive or access opened up. The lot is ready for a surveyor, a builder or a fence crew.
Derrick clears lots around Hinesville, Fort Stewart, Richmond Hill, Ludowici and across the counties nearby. The minimum is one acre.

Before you buy or build
If you are looking at a lot that is grown up, a clearing estimate before closing tells you what the land will really cost to use. Derrick will walk it with you and give a straight answer. Lots headed for a build go on to land clearing for construction.

How long does lot clearing take?
Most one- to three-acre lots are a one- to two-day job depending on growth and tree count.
Do you remove the mulch afterward?
The mulch stays unless the site plan needs bare ground. It controls erosion and breaks down into the soil. If a builder needs it removed from the pad footprint, that is handled by the grading contractor.
