Clearing to the site plan
Derrick clears the house or building footprint, the driveway and the utility runs, and leaves the rest of the lot wooded or mulched as the owner decides. Stumps inside the footprint are ground low so the grading contractor can start the pad without pulling roots.
Grading, fill and pad work are not part of the service. Derrick hands off a cleared, mulched site to whoever is doing the dirt.

No. Derrick clears and grinds stumps. Grading and pad work are done by a grading contractor after the site is cleared.
Can you clear just the footprint and leave the rest wooded?
Yes. That is the most common request on a wooded homesite, and it keeps the shade and privacy around the house.
