Where brush mulching makes sense
Fence lines that have grown shut, the edges of a pasture, a homesite that has gone a few seasons without attention, and the strip along a driveway or ditch. Brush mulching takes it back to ground cover without tearing up the soil the way a bucket or a blade would.
If the growth has gotten into small trees, the job becomes forestry mulching. Derrick will tell you which it is after the walk-through, and the price reflects the work, not the label.

How is brush mulching different from bush hogging?
Bush hogging mows grass and light brush with a rotary cutter. Brush mulching grinds woody growth, briars and saplings that a brush hog would bounce off. If it has stems thicker than your thumb, it is a mulching job.
Will the brush grow back?
Some regrowth is normal, but the mulch layer slows it down a lot. A yearly bush hogging pass keeps a mulched area open.
