02The story
A Lifetime of Working the Land
Derrick has been cutting trees, mulching, and clearing land since he was 18 years old. Before this company, he owned and ran his own tree service in South Georgia, a business that grew to include dump trucks, semi trucks, and a crew. He eventually sold it and took some time away.
He came back in 2026, starting with landscaping and lawn care around Hinesville, then returning to the work he knows best: forestry mulching, land clearing, brush hogging, and stump grinding. Timber, trees, overgrown lots, and brushy acreage are what he has spent his working life on.

Why the Name Says Lawn Care
The business started out doing landscaping, and the name came with it. Today the main focus is clearing and reclaiming land, though landscaping is still part of what Derrick offers for homes and businesses in the area. If you landed here looking for a forestry mulcher, you're in the right place.

How Derrick Approaches Every Job
Right now, it's just Derrick. After running a larger operation, he chose to start this one himself and grow it carefully instead of hiring fast. The person who walks your land and gives you a price is the same person who runs the equipment.
He walks a property before he puts a machine on it. On one recent job, he found an entire bicycle hidden under the brush in a customer's yard. An operator who drove straight in would have hit it. On larger tracts, the same walk-through is how he spots wet ground, soft spots, and holes hidden under the growth, so the equipment stays upright and your land doesn't get torn up.
He also doesn't stack jobs back to back and rush through them. As a rough guide, three to four acres of mulching takes him about a day and a half, and a 100-acre tract takes about a week to a week and a half. He schedules around the time a job really needs, so no property gets left half finished.
